The game isn't rainbow, it's no where close. The only similarities they have is there is a cover system and there are guns.

It's way closer to Rainbow than any other shooter out there. All about teamwork and objectives.

If we are going by teamwork and objectives and not gameplay then bf3 is just as similar.

Minus the vehicles and huge maps, then yes I would suppose so. GRFS is more of a close quarters thing where as BF3 is more geared towards the larger maps.
Also the two are similar in the fact that if I actually play the game and get the objectives I will score more points then if i am just out there trying to get a good K/D ratio.

I just wasn't into the whole vehicle thing which is why I didn't play it much. But to it's credit it is one of the shooters I actually did not trade in. Still one day want to play and finish co-op and single player.
